Two videos have surfaced on Youtube known as Jak Training Video 1 and Jak Training Video 2. They appear to be of an unreleased Jak game in mid-development, they even include the voice acting of Mike Erwin and Max Casella. That may as well prove they're official to me. But I can't help but wonder how the uploader, aliasfront, got these videos. His profile contains several Uncharted videos, is it possible he works for Naughty Dog?
Update: It seems that aliasfront is actually Van Phan, a Cenimatic Animator whom has done work on Uncharted. And according to some comments made by aliasfront which I unfortunately dismissed before </deepshame>, the game was postponed. He didn't provide any information on how long the game would be postponed, however.
The videos have been removed from his YouTube page so the links will lead you nowhere. Hopefully Van didn't get fired for his spill.

I regret to inform you that Sony will be shutting down the servers for Jak X and various other games on June 30. And that just blows... I suggest that everyone who plays online get a few more games in before the servers shut down, 'cause you won't be able to ever again after June 30. I, unfortunately, have never been able to play online. I do hope that those of you who have enjoy it while it lasts... |

Believe it or not, but that's not a random title. NanoEliete666 has posted an interesting article concerning some old ND veterans: "Naughty Dog veterans Bob Rafei and E. Daniel Arey have gone off to form their own game development studio known as Big Red Button Entertainment. According to the studio's web site, it currently has six original intellectual properties in conceptual development for cross-platform purposes."Gamespot articleWe have an open discussion in our forum.
